Hi, I’m ElizaBeth

I’m a somatic coach with twenty years of experience helping people who live and lead with heart make shifts that finally stick.

For years I understood my patterns, could talk about them fluently, and still couldn’t change them. I’d done therapy, courses, trainings, and I achieved a lot of success personally and professionally. Something was still missing.

I first heard the word “somatics” in 2013, but I didn’t really understand what it was. When I finally decided to try somatics, I experienced more presence, joy, clarity and energy, and the changes I made stuck. I became a fuller version of me, and that rippled out into my business leadership and my relationships.

Today I help people close that same gap: between what they know and what they’re living.

What somatic coaching with me is like

Somatics is a bottom-up approach to change. Instead of working only with the head, mindset, insight, intellect, it includes the whole body: sensation, mood, emotion, image, movement, posture.

Here’s why that matters. You can know exactly what you want to ask for, and soften it in the moment. You can understand perfectly well that you should set a boundary, and still hear yourself say yes. Insight lives in one place. Behavior under pressure lives somewhere else: in a nervous system that learned, a long time ago, what was safe.

Somatic coaching works on that second place. We slow down enough for your body to be part of the conversation, and we build capacity to show up differently, so that you can live and lead with more heart.

Go deeper: how can somatic coaching help me?

Coaching is not therapy or medical care, and it isn't a replacement for either. If you're in acute crisis, or looking for clinical treatment, a licensed therapist or physician is the right place to start.

What it's like to work together

Working with ElizaBeth has been such a gift. I've been able to do deeper somatic work with her than I ever could because of the trust, safety, and ease she creates.

Brionna — Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

Through her somatic coaching, ElizaBeth helped me gain more confidence in myself. I learned to pay more attention and give credence to my inner guiding prompts.

Sarah — Doctor of Acupuncture

I've probably disappointed some people this past month by saying "no." But it's also meant that when I have said "yes," it's a whole-body yes.

What if reaching your goals didn't take so much out of you?

Some of it just has to get done: showing up for your family, for your team, for what's actually yours to carry. But some of what's taking so much out of you isn't showing up for the work, it's the years of overthinking, over-giving and over-functioning.

Start where you actually are

Which one of these is true today?

Even if you’re new to somatics, you may recognize yourself here. Which sentence resonates most right now?
