What is this moment actually asking of you?
You're clear on what you want, who you are, and how you want to show up. But the way you're currently living and leading won't get you there.
You made it. You've built something real. People trust you, respect you, and rely on you to show up with competence and heart. You've spent years being the one who guides and supports others: your team, your clients, your community, the people you love.
And you've done the work on yourself too. The books. The coaching. The professional development. Maybe workshops, maybe therapy. You're not someone who avoids what's hard.
So why does the needle keep not moving?
You know exactly what to do, and still don't do it. Or you do, for a while, and then pressure arrives and you're right back in the old pattern before you've chosen it. Or the structure that's guided you for years, the plan, the next rung, the way it's always been done, simply runs out, and you find yourself somewhere without a map.
This is uncharted territory. Not because you lack effort, ambition, vision or follow-through, but because the skills that built your track record aren't the ones this next part is asking for.
That gap, between what you know how to do and what this moment is actually asking of you, is the real edge you're standing on.
That gap has a name: an embodied capacity gap. It can’t be closed by thinking harder or preparing more, because it doesn’t live in your thinking. It lives in the body, in the nervous system, in the soma. For the shifts to stick, that’s where the work has to happen.
What you need is a way forward that's less about pushing through, and more about alignment.
It's a way of working directly with what's actually running the show: your nervous system, your gut, your felt sense of what's true.
You're not starting from scratch, but you are being asked to learn something new.
What this can look like
Leadership shows up at work, at home, in community, and in how you move through your own life. Here are some of the tangible shifts my clients have moved toward.
And underneath it all: doing work that actually matters to you, sustainably enough to keep doing it.
What becomes possible
What we do together
Our first step is always to clarify what you're working toward.
From there, each session builds somatic awareness and embodied skill: noticing what your body is doing under pressure, and practicing something different in real time. You leave each session with an integration plan, usually five to ten minutes of practice per day.
Self-awareness isn't your gap. You've been aware of these patterns for years. What you'll build is the capacity to stay with what you've noticed, long enough for something to change. I'll share tools and practices to help you show up fully for what matters most to you.
Not generic practice. Every session works on the specific skills the vision you're building actually requires.
This is personal and professional transformation. Most people find they can't do one without the other. Or do it fully on their own.
I work with people who practice leadership: at work, at home, in community, or simply in how you move through your life. Whether you're in the thick of building something, or standing on the other side of a chapter that's already closed. If you're ready to stop pushing through and start leading, and living, aligned, this work is for you.
What a session is actually like
Body-based work carries an unspoken question — what is she going to ask me to do? Here's the honest answer.
There's a structure to this, and it's built for you. After our first session I put together a set of somatic practices designed around the specific skills and competencies your goals ask for. We work through them session by session, in the order that matches what's most live for you. Two people can come to me wanting the same thing and take entirely different routes there.
A brief check-in. What's relevant to update me on? How are you arriving today? What would you like to focus on?
It helps to bring something specific you'd like to change or work on: navigating a hard conversation, setting a boundary, making an ask, taking a next step toward your vision.
I draw on my training with the Strozzi Institute and in Somatic Experiencing to offer a wide range of tools and practices we can explore together.
The practice or tool I offer will be relevant to your current situation, to the longer-term goal you're working toward, and to closing the gap between where you are and where you want to be.
Each session helps you develop the embodied skills, competencies, and capacity to show up fully for what matters most to you.
We debrief, and you leave with an integration plan: something small, usually a five to ten minute investment each day.
You'll also identify one person for accountability, share the plan with them, and ask them to follow up. You keep your own record of your practices. Somatics loves repetition, so being consistent between sessions is where the change actually happens.
Part of what makes this work dynamic and effective is that there are principles and practices I draw on to help us navigate uncharted territory together, and your vision and goals always guide the process. I've done this enough to know that what you want is possible, even if I don't know how we'll get there.
One session, specifically
A client — a self-employed voice and communication specialist who coaches everyone from team members to CEOs — arrived low on energy after a week of being sick, and still working too much. She wanted to leave with more energy, more contentment, and a sense of spaciousness.
She was also honest that she didn't know whether she believed her goals were actually possible in one hour.
We went deeper into why energy, contentment and spaciousness mattered to her. She'd been sick, and the point wasn't to push. So I chose a practice that met her energy where it actually was, and would leave her more resilient than it found her.
The practice took the form of a body-based conversation. As we talked, specific movements, phrases and emotions emerged, and we explored those as they came. Inside those moments her nervous system was able to discharge activation: the pent-up stress a body holds onto when it hasn't had the chance to finish responding to what it's been through.
We also worked with agency. How is it to choose the amount of feeling and sensation that's just right for what you actually need to do today? In her case, what she needed to do was go back to work.
At the end I checked in with her on how we'd done against her goals. She said:
It's amazing how different I feel. I just don't get it. And I'm like, am I pretending? Is this just something that I'm pretending now because we're at the end — but it isn't. So yeah, I feel energized for sure. That's the one I didn't think we'd hit. I don't know how many sessions it will take before I sit and believe it, that this is how different I can feel in an hour doing this work. So I want to thank you for that. It means a lot.
RachelVoice and communication specialist
She didn't just leave with the feeling. She left with a clear integration practice to replicate what produced more energy for her, a five to ten minute commitment she can do on her own, whenever she needs to bring energy back in. That's the part that outlasts the hour.
Nothing about that hour was scripted, but it wasn't freestanding either. Rachel came to our work with a clear commitment, and that session was building one of the specific skills that commitment asks for. What she brought that day shaped how we got there. The skepticism in her own words is the part worth noticing. She checked whether she was talking herself into it, and found she wasn't.
If you're looking for someone to do the work for you, or want a “quick fix,” this isn't the right fit. Our work together requires vulnerability, commitment and desire for change. Together, we will go deep and far, as you step into more presence, impact and alignment.
You will leave each session with an integration plan: simple somatic practices and action steps for between sessions. We'll clarify and align with your vision during our time together, but I can only guide you. You are going to need to show up and be in committed practice on your own.
The logistics
Three calls per month to guide and support your transformation. I'm here to help you navigate the uncertainty that shows up as you create change, and to help you build the confidence and skills to stay the course.
In their words
Working with ElizaBeth has been such a gift. I've been able to do deeper somatic work with her than I ever could because of the trust, safety, and ease she creates.
Brionna — Licensed Marriage and Family TherapistThrough her somatic coaching, ElizaBeth helped me gain more confidence in myself. I learned to pay more attention and give credence to my inner guiding prompts.
Sarah — Doctor of AcupunctureI didn't know what to expect, but I can say I did feel a sense of alignment and empowerment… I was surprised by how much fun it was!
Gina — Health CoachBefore you apply
They take what we work on together and put it into their actual life, in the days between our calls. This is the single biggest predictor of how far someone gets.
Five to ten minutes most days for practice, and about three hours a month with me. Not a season where those hours don't exist.
A clear vision, or a felt sense of one, along with some ideas about what's been getting in the way. Not certainty. A direction.
Open, and able to let something be seen inside our work together.
The acute part of the transition has passed, and they're ready to build what's next rather than survive what just happened.
Please don't apply unless you can commit to this. If this isn't the season for a five-month container, that's worth knowing now rather than three months in. Try a single Somatic Experiencing session instead, and get a taste of the work without the commitment.

Still wondering
Each session runs about an hour and moves roughly in three parts: arriving and naming what's live for you, exploring and practicing it in your body, then landing and deciding what you'll take with you. You stay seated, clothed and in charge throughout. You leave with an integration plan, usually five to ten minutes of practice per day.
Thirteen sessions over five months, held on Zoom. Our first step is always to clarify what you're working toward, and every session from there builds toward it.
$600 per month over five months, or $3,000 paid in full. This includes thirteen sessions, an integration plan after each one, and support between sessions.
No. Coaching is not therapy or medical care, and it isn't a substitute for either. Somatic coaching is forward-looking and skill-building: we work with what's happening in your body now to build the capacity for what you're moving toward. If you're in acute crisis, therapy is the better place to start.
No. No somatic background is required, just curiosity and a willingness to pay attention to what your body is doing. Most people arrive having read about this work without having practiced it.
