There's a particular kind of exhaustion happening right now. Not just the personal kind that comes from carrying responsibility, from years of competence and service, but a collective one. The ground beneath all of us is shifting: geopolitical instability, AI disrupting work, economic anxiety, eroding trust in institutions. The structures we've organized our lives around feel less solid than they did.
The old maps aren't working. And no one has handed us new ones yet.
This weekend I co-facilitated a day retreat alongside one of my teachers, Toni Cupal, and we spoke a lot about how to navigate the uncertainties present in our lives today: the ones out there in the world, and the ones living inside us.
Toni spoke about how trust and doubt are two sides of the same coin. I shared simple practices to orient us to what is certain, that the Earth and the sky are always with us, no matter what the weather is in our internal or external environments.
I kept thinking about you. You know success. You've achieved real things, hit big goals, followed through. For years you've known where you were going, probably toward something significant, and you got there.
And now you're without a map. Not just because the world is uncertain, but because something in you is ready for a different kind of next.
That feels liberating. And also deeply exposing.
What I know from doing this work
I know this feeling intimately. I've spent my career as an entrepreneur and business owner focused on guiding people through change: physically, energetically, emotionally, and spiritually. After years of guiding embodied transformation, and walking it myself, I can tell you this with full confidence: change never goes away. But you get more skillful at navigating it when you meet it with intention and support.
Every time you face uncertainty — not bypassing it, not bracing against it, but truly meeting it — you grow your ability to stand in the not-knowing while keeping your eyes on what matters most to you. That is an extremely powerful place to be, and a powerful skill to develop. It's exactly what we work on in somatic coaching.
Here's what I know about you
You have a vision. And if thinking and willpower alone could get you there, they already would have.
You're not afraid of hard work. You just want your effort to align with who you are becoming.
This isn't about another external goal to perform. It's about your truth, your experience, how you invest your life.
You don't need another map. You need your internal compass. You want to step into this next chapter feeling empowered, aligned and capable, even when uncertainty shows up.
If these words resonated with you, I'd love to hear from you.
